Marley Alutec has announced three new staff appointments at its Bedford headquarters. They are: Aamirah Nawaz as Internal Sales Support, Andrew Mackenzie as Technical Services Engineer and Alex Wilson as Estimator. This latest round of recruitment is indicative of the company’s continued success.
After working in the Marley Alutec warehouse for over a year, Aamirah put herself forward for the new role of Internal Sales Support. Her experience, enthusiasm and eagerness to progress helped her to secure the job.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for me, one which I knew I had to take,” Aamirah commented. “I’m excited to learn new skills and provide assistance to the area sales managers and the wider sales team.”
Other new starters bring experience from outside the company. Andrew Mackenzie, who has been appointed Technical Services Engineer, has worked in a variety of manufacturing roles across a number of different industries, excelling in sheet metal work, welding and fabrication. Responding to a growing demand, Andrew’s role is a new post at Marley Alutec, where he will provide technical product support, as well as producing rainwater drainage calculations, production drawings and overseeing machine programming.
“Marley Alutec is able to offer considerable added value for customers through our technical support and I hope that my existing skills and experience will complement the knowledge and capabilities of the wider team.”
Alex Wilson brings with him seven years’ experience as an Estimator for Potton Homes and Kingspan Timber Solutions. He will now be working closely with the sales and technical teams at Marley Alutec as well as the customers themselves.
Alex concluded: “I wanted a role that would allow me to take on more responsibility, and at Marley Alutec as an Estimator, I am able to do that, expanding my knowledge and skills further in a sales and technical capacity.”
