Aligator® Box Eaves Soffit System
Box Eaves is a high capacity gutter system which can be installed independently or with integral soffit panel. No soffit support framework is necessary. Marley Alutec supply both ventilated and non-ventilated soffit panels, however other proprietary panels can also be used (check with Alutec Technical Services as to suitability).

Aligator® Box Eaves Soffit System Installation
1. Once a run of gutter has been installed, the soffit may be fitted. Fix the Wall Channel GL789 at the same level as the underside of the gutter at 750mm centres using screws, SC201. Leave a 3-4mm expansion gap at each abutting joint.
2. Slide the soffit panels into the gutter and wall channel simultaneously. Add additional soffit panels as required ensuring that the panels fully overlap at each abutting joint. Where soffit panels are 750mm wide or greater, the overlapping joints should be secured together with an aluminium pop rivet at maximum 400mm centres.
3. Soffit panels should be mitre cut at corners. The joint is covered with a mitre cover strip, GL796 or GL797, trimmed to the desired length and pop rivetted into place.
NB: Jointing should not be carried out in wet weather, temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C
