Alutec Shower Outlet Typical Applications

Horizontal Spigot Shower Outlet - Flexible sheet flooring on timber deck

Fix floor boarding with fall towards outlet. Cut 170mm dia. hole with 5mm deep x 15mm wide flange recess.
Place outlet body into hole ensuring outer flange is flush with floor surface.
Connect waste pipe to outlet.
Lay and adhere flexible sheet flooring over outlet body then carefully cut a 115mm dia hole central to the outlet.
Secure clamping ring with screws provided, ensuring sheet flooring is positively clamped and compressed into shower outlet body.
Position and secure grate/removable trap cover.

Vertical Spigot Shower Outlet - Tiled flooring on concrete deck

Grout outlet body into hole within slab, ensuring that flange is set at lowest screed level.
Lay screed to correct falls to finish level with outlet flange.
Lay waterproofing membrane over screeded finish floor and outlet body Carefully cut a 115mm dia. hole central to outlet.

Secure clamping ring with screws provided ensuring waterproofing membrane is positively clamped and secured to the outlet body.
Position tile set grate centrally over outlet body and commence laying tiles outwards to complete area.
Position and secure special removable trap.
Secure grate into tile set surround.
