Roof Outlets
The following information is applicable to the Vertical
Threaded, Vertical Spigot, 45°
Threaded and 45° Spigot.
Application
For use with all types of flat roofs with bituminous or multi-layer
waterproofing membranes. Use threaded outlets (female BSP thread)
and threaded adaptor where additional length of spigot is required,
i.e. where the joint to pipework is located within the concrete slab
or in an inaccessible roof void.
Options
Insulation
For "warm roof" installations a foam insulation layer is
factory applied as an option.
Anti Vortex Fins
may be fitted to dome grates to increase flow performance. Supplied
with the roof outlet.

The following information is applicable to the 90° Threaded,
90° Spigot, Balcony Outlet and
Shallow Balcony Outlet.
Application
: 90° Threaded and 90° Spigot
For use with all types of flat roofs and gutters with bituminous or
multi-layer waterproofing membranes. The threaded outlet has a female
BSP thread for use with threaded adaptors (page 12) where an additional
length of connection spigot is required. Ideal for casting into a
concrete slab in conjunction with horizontal pipework or to connect
to pipework within a restricted roof void.
Application
: Balcony Outlet
For use with bituminous or multi-layer waterproofing membranes,
when draining either single or multi storey balconies. Designed to
be fitted against a wall or upstand. The outlet allows discharge from
the rainwater pipe above in line directly into the outlet below. The
flat grate is provided with a 'cut out' which can be either site or
factory cut to accommodate the pipe from above. Outlets for use with
63, 76 or 102mm aluminium pipework are available to order.
Application : Shallow Balcony Outlet
For use with bituminous or multi-layer waterproofing membranes. The
shallow balcony outlet has the same features as the standard balcony
outlet, but with a shallow sump and extended spigot. This allows the
sump to be accommodated within the thickness of the screed/structural
concrete, without having to cut reinforcing steelwork. The pipe spigot
is extended to project below the slab for ease of connection to pipework.
Outlets for use with 63 or 76mm aluminium pipework are available to
order.

The following information is applicable to the Two
Way Outlet, Car Park Outlet, Gully
Outlet and Refurbishment Outlet.
Application : Two Way Outlet
For use at the intersection of horizontal & vertical surfaces,
i.e. balcony or parapet walls with bituminous or multi-layer waterproofing
membranes. The outlet has a female BSP thread for connection to standard
pipework and may be installed vertically or horizontally using threaded
adaptors.
Application : Car Park Outlet
Designed to a maximum single wheel loading of one tonne.
Supplied with a standard flat circular grate, two clamping rings and
raising ring. This allows for a waterproofing layer and an additional
top paviour layer to be dressed and sealed into the outlet, separated
by the raising ring. The outlet has a female BSP thread for connection
to standard pipework, using the threaded adaptors.
Application
: Gully Outlet
Eliminates the requirement to remove old roof outlets by
fitting directly into the existing outlet, creating a watertight seal
within existing pipe. The outlet is fully insulated and appropriately
raised, to match the thickness of new roof insulation layer. The bottom
flange should be sealed down onto existing roof covering, using a
sealant compatible to the roofing material or a bonded membrane strip,
to achieve a secure moisture barrier. The outlet includes a membrane
clamping ring, dome grate, connection pipe and seal. Supplied with
full installation instructions.
Options
